Hi, everyone. This is just a site update to let you know about a few things going on at CrossFeedNews.com. Some are temporary, and some are permanent. First off, no podcast episode this week. Dale got hammered with a nasty sinus flu and was laid up all weekend, laryngitis letting up just enough to get through his Sunday morning service. This week has schedule conflicts, so it looks like it'll be 2 weeks before we get another episode out. Sorry about that. Feel free to go back and watch some old episodes and see how far we've come in quality since the early days. For the time being, comments will need to be approved unless you sign up for a free account. We've been getting slammed with spam, so this has become necessary temporarily. If you don't want to/can't sign up, it'll just be a little while until your comment appears on the site, since it'll have to be approved manually, and I have a day job. We're in the process of moving to a different server. Once that's done, sign-ups should work again. (They currently time-out for some reason.) In the process, we also plan to upgrade the engine that runs this site to allow for some new possibilities, like better spam filtering (we'll be adding a more effective captcha method). At that point, anonymous posts will be re-enabled to work instantly again. Because we're moving to a new host, the site may be down for a little while, hopefully not more than a few hours. If you stop by and find it down, that's good news that we're almost done. The podcast files will definitely be available the whole time with no foreseeable interruption.
