• ADL Welcomes Effort By United Church of Christ to Give Israel a Fair Hearing

A new resolution adopted by the General Synod of the United Church of Christ (UCC) on June 24 calls for the group to undertake an in-depth and balanced study of the Middle East conflict, and to factor in previously ignored key issues such as the teaching of hate and violence in schools and through the media, Israel's disengagement from Gaza, and the rising internecine violence between Hamas and Fatah.

The fight between Israel and Palestine is like Lex Luthor vs. the Joker. There's nobody to point to and say, "Those are the good guys."
