As priest tries to deflect blame, his apology rings hollow

While pleased that Father Pfleger did offer something close to an apology for his mean-spirited, racial remarks about Hillary Clinton (and other white people), had he stopped there, I know the issue would have died easily for me. A sincere apology, however, does not harbor or encourage resentment toward someone else (the media) or try to deflect attention from the sin that was exposed by bringing up things such as cyclones, earthquakes and tornadoes, which are sad but not at all related to his own previously unexposed sin of making politics racial. His remarks afterward, especially in his sermon lambasting YouTube for airing his comments, clearly were blaming the media for exposing the sermon that he made at Trinity United Church of Christ.
