Catholicism to overtake Anglicanism as most practiced UK religion

Catholicism is set to overtake the state Church of England to become Britain's most practiced religion for the first time since the Protestant Reformation almost 500 years ago, according to a new report.
Why? Because of all the Polish immigrants.

Catholicism to overtake Anglicanism as most practiced UK religio

The Catholic increase in the UK comes from a quarter quite removed from British culture, relative to the historical connections and significance of Catholics from much further afield - namely, those who suffered and died as Jacobites and were forced out of Britain by Protestant usurpers who still rule today. Apart from a mundane search for material goods, these "new Catholics" to British soil also contribute little towards British culture in a meaningful sense. The great majority tend to see themselves as expatriots above all else and would rather fight and die for their countries of origin than for Britain. Furthermore, these new Catholics are overwhelmingly occupying the lower ranks and often on the fringes of British society, whereas the "old Catholics" were represented throughout, having grown out of an integral context. Ironically, however, these new "British" Catholics by default will perhaps, if the trend continues, be responsible for the dethroning of the present British Monarchy which has ruled Britain for the last 300+ years on the Protest ticket. This assumes that Britain does not become a Protestant military dictatorship as was almost the case when Lord Mountbatten and the Earl of Crometty, with Edward Heath's signature and with the British military establishment's support, almost imposed a coup in 1967, thereby demonstrating the real nature of British "democracy". This also assumes that these new Catholics don't opportunistically change sides and become new Protestants or at least non-practising Catholics. Many, if not most of these new Catholics come from Eastern Europe and saw Catholicism as a means to a materialistic end (getting rid of Communism and its hopeless economic practices) than as a profound religious belief. Apart from cheap examples such as the French "Revolution", in which a King was substituted by an Emperor, the lower classes have a remarkable ability to go with a relatively successful status quo irrespective of belief-systems. My hunch is that overall very little will come of this change anyway, no matter how great, particularly because of the arbitrary nature of Protestant/capitalist rule over Britain.
