Christian Activists to Unveil 850-Pound Ten Commandments Monument in D.C.

They're setting up a giant 10 Commandments monument right across the street from the Supreme Court on private property.

Monument story is down

Right! So i'm admitting I haven't read the article, as the link is down. But going off the link, this is a good way to express religious pride - on your own darned land. Well done! Living in LA, I used to get really angry at this massive, 3 story crucifix that dominated the skyline right off the 101 as you drive through Hollywood - I was furious that someone blew public funds to build a religious monument that was a real eyesore (and yes, I'd have been a little less annoyed if it wasn't bloody ugly). Finding out, though, that it was erected by a private property owner on his own land out of his own pocket - more power to you! It's still a bloody ugly statue, but heck, its your dime. Go for it.

Fixed link

I fixed the link--it was too long, so I gave it a tinyurl And I tend to agree as long as nobody wants to sandblast the existing monuments. -- Pastor Dale Webmaster, http://LCMSPastor.com
