• Christian Teacher Fired Over Bible

I wanted to give an update to a story which appeared on OneNewsNow earlier this year about a teacher who came under fire for keeping a Bible on his desk.  On Friday, the Mount Vernon School district voted unanimously to fire veteran teacher, John Freshwater, because of reports that Freshwater had preached his Christian beliefs and had burned the image of a cross onto the arms of students.  The article states that the case stems back to an incident in April when Freshwater argued with school officials over whether or not he could keep a Bible on display at his desk.
