The Destiny Church-backed Destiny NZ party yesterday confirmed its intention to de-register and throw its weight behind a new political party, co-led by Destiny NZ leader Richard Lewis.Future NZ leader Gordon Copeland, a UnitedFuture defector, was immediately forced to declare he would be the other co-leader, after earlier professing not to know Destiny's intentions.

Does New Zealand--or any other country for that matter--need a Christian political party? Or more than one?
