• European Churches Push for EU 'God Clause'

European church leaders have revived efforts to include a 'God clause' in the EU constitution after Germany sought to reignite the current drafting process.

Since much of Europe was built on religion, they think a generic reference to God would be a good thing (lest He be forgotten altogether).
