Increased religious fervour makes interfaith understanding important

Studies show Singaporeans are becoming more fervent in their religions, said Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng, and this sparks concern that it might lead to a sense of exclusivity which could hinder interaction between different faiths.
The more people know about their own faith, the more willing they should be to interact with other religions, being secure in their own beliefs, not the other way around.
